Get ready for another unforgettable day of live music, community, and celebration! Ridgewood Porchfest returns on Saturday, September 19, 2026, transforming neighborhood porches—and the West Side Presbyterian Church South Lawn—into concert stages as neighbors, friends, and visitors gather to celebrate the spirit of Ridgewood.
Performances will take place throughout the day, with east-side porches and the South Lawn stage at West Side hosting musicians during the afternoon and early evening. Bring your family, invite your friends, and enjoy a full day of outstanding local music, community connection, and delicious offerings from local food trucks. Beer and wine will be available for purchase from our friends at Steel Wheel during the evening performances on the South Lawn.
East Side Lineup
1:00 - 1:30 PM: Ridgewood High School Marching Band
The Ridgewood High School Marching Band, under the direction of John Luckenbill, is one of the tri-state area’s premier ensembles. The 2024 USBands Group 4A New Jersey State and National Champions, the RHSMB is excited to present their 2026 production "Your Majesty..." and kick off Ridgewood Porchfest for the second year in a row!
1:30 - 2:15 PM: The D.J.D.J. Band
Four journeymen musicians come together for a good cause! We have played together and separately for 15 years or so, both in cover bands and with our own original music. Porchfest goers will be treated to a cross-section of tunes from The Eagles to Peter Gabriel to Kansas. We are delighted to put our voices together again and perform for Ridgewood Porchfest 2026!

2:00 - 2:45 PM: Dave Slomin and Waiting for Henry
Dave Slomin is a Ridgewood dad, collector of beat-up guitars and songwriter for the Americana band Waiting For Henry. Formed by a trio of college friends, who made a record just “to give to friends,” WFH’s 2013 debut, Ghosts and Compromise, caught on at alt-country press and radio and the band hit the road, playing shows throughout the northeast, mid-west and Toronto’s NXNE. Over the years, Dave’s opened for Iggy Pop, Jonathan Richman, Tommy Stinson and toured with Counting Crows. Aquarian Magazine said: “If you’re a fan of rock music in the tradition of R.E.M. and Wilco, you are going to love Waiting For Henry.” For Porchfest 2026, Dave will be joined by WFH’s bassist Mike Chun, doing the band’s first acoustic show since 2020.
2:30 - 3:15 PM: Pete Diamond
Pete Diamond is a singer-songwriter from North Jersey. Reminiscent of early Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Traveling Wilburys, Pete’s musical style echoes stripped-down roots rock with an alternative bent. A well-respected songwriter and band leader, he has written and recorded with soul, roots, and blues artist Dana Fuchs. In 2015, Pete’s collaboration with Fuchs yielded three heartfelt songs from the Broken Down Acoustic Sessions. Pete’s solo effort, Funny-Cry-Happy-Gift, is a nine-song album capturing Pete’s gift for clever lyrics, creative musical imagery and supremely memorable arrangements. Produced in his signature heartland-rock vibe, songs like BB Eyes, A For Apple and We Ate It Up are sure to please music fans who long for the unpretentious approach common to the best-loved songwriters.
3:00 - 3:45 PM: Guitar Dave and D'Edies
Known around Ridgewood as "Guitar Dave," Dave McCarthy grew up on the Beatles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Cat Stevens, and other classic rock favorites, teaching himself guitar in high school. After years away from the instrument, he picked it up again in 1995 to impress his future wife, Edie, discovering that music would become a cornerstone of their marriage.
Edie's musical roots couldn't have been more different. A self-described disco queen, she grew up on dance music and sang in contemporary church choirs, bringing strong vocals and harmonies to their partnership. Together, they've blended their influences into a repertoire spanning six decades.
In 2016, Dave submitted a Green Day cover to the Ridgewood High School Jamboree on a whim, earning the finale slot and launching regular performances throughout Bergen County. Today, Dave and Edie often perform together as "The D'Edies," proving that great music—and a great marriage—can be built on wonderfully different playlists.
3:20 - 4:05 PM: Subourbonites
The Subourbonites have been together for 8 years. We play Classic Rock, mainly from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, occasionally playing more recent material. We have played in Ridgewood, Glen Rock, Ho-Ho-Kus, Hawthorne, Upper Saddle River. We have played at, amongst other places, Glen Rock’s 125th , Ridgewood’s Come Together, Ridgewood Unplugged (3x), Van Neste Square ( 3x), Upper Saddle River Harvest Festival, Ridgewood Pride Celebration, Jamboree event and the first Ridgewood Porchfest in 2025.
We are ready to play where needed because we just love to rock out.

3:45 - 4:30 PM: Take 4
Take 4 was formed in Ridgewood back in 2010, when Brian, Max and James were in fifth grade. Porchfest 2026 marks the band's first return to Ridgewood, and first time playing together in over 8 years.
4:15 - 5:00 PM: Swingcasters
The Swingcasters are a 5 piece swing band that plays all kinds of swing jazz music, from traditional to modern-pop-turned-swing! Based in Ridgewood, New Jersey, the original project grew out of a bandmate's garage in 2020. The band's momentum quickly picked up steam, landing them in numerous venues throughout Northern New Jersey and in New York City. The current Swingcasters line-up is Denise DeAngelis (vocals), Alex Saunders (keys), Joe Solway (saxophone), Ben Weiss (upright bass) and Reggie Gamble (drums). They are excited to be back to play at the second annual Ridgewood Porchfest on Saturday September 19, 2026!

11:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Sanjna
SANJNA grew up humming Bollywood songs in the back seat of a car, studied Carnatic classical music in Bangalore, and went on to double-major in Math and Music at Harvard — which is either the most logical combination or the least, depending on who you ask.
After moving back to America, Sanjna delved into songwriting and music production. Her self-produced debut Look At Us Now (2024) and sophomore album Jupiter (2025) have drawn comparisons to Adele, Norah Jones, and H.E.R. She recently released a single “Usually,” which she wrote and produced herself.
Reluctantly recruited into a Led Zeppelin cover band at 12, Sanjna spent approximately three weeks resisting it before she was screaming Communication Breakdown at the top of her lungs and fully immersed herself in classic rock. Her influences have only expanded from there, including jazz, R&B, Carnatic classical, opera, and pop.
She's performed at venues across the East Coast, won national awards for songwriting and classical voice, and is currently working on her third album. She is also a cellist, has synesthesia, and will absolutely talk your ear off about the sociolinguistics of 90s hip-hop if you let her.

With its roots in classic blues and its heart in gritty rock & roll, Red Machine USA fuses vintage ambience with crisp guitar licks, driving rhythms, and soulful woodwinds into an indomitable live sound and original music guaranteed to make you move.
Red Machine's sound invokes classic rock heavyweights like Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and Pink Floyd, paired with the modern garage-rock energy of The Black Keys, The White Stripes, and John Mayer. The engine room features Matt Mazella's pocket-perfect groove on drums and veteran bassist Brad Ivie locking down the low end. Adding rich color and melodic depth are Tim Dunn on keys and Eve LoCastro, bringing a searing, dynamic edge on flute and sax.
Red Machine USA is back in the groove, in the studio, and bringing explosive live sets to stages across New Jersey — forging the path for a new generation of rock and blues.
