Rebuilding After Exile: A Study of Nehemiah
What does it take to rebuild? The Book of Nehemiah tells the story of Jerusalem's reconstruction after the Jewish people returned from exile in Babylon. For generations it has encouraged those living far from home, and anyone who feels estranged from their nation, faith, or family.
Together we'll ask whether there is hope for rebuilding faith, community, and virtue in our own time. We'll also look honestly at how the returnees treated those who had stayed behind in Jerusalem. Those encounters were not always compassionate or just. Come explore this pivotal chapter of the biblical story with us!
