PATRON CONCERT: JUBILATION!

No matter what the weather at the end of February, this concert is guaranteed to raise the spirits! Originally established in 1998 under the auspices of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Jubilation is a culturally mixed chorus committed to singing African American sacred music with an emphasis on Gospel music. Also known as "Voices of Jubilation," the choir has gained an international reputation performing in Japan and Russia. They also ministered at the funeral of Jazz Great Lionel Hampton and participated in the opening ceremonies of the 2002 US Tennis OPen, with Queen Latifah and Tony Bennett. Their discography includes The Launch Out Project, recently re-released and nominated for the 2009 Stellar Awards.
The Rev. Stefanie R. Minatee is Artistic Director for Jubilation and is Associate Minister of the Community Baptist Church of Englewood, NJ. A graduate of the prestigious Arts High School in Newark, she is now completing coursework in the Doctor of Ministry Program at Drew University.
