Pat McGlade, Parish Nurse

Pat is a registered nurse with extensive experience in hospice care. She spends much of her time visiting members in their homes, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. Pat runs support groups for bereavement and those dealing with mental illness, and provides much TLC to West Side members who are in mental, emotional, or physical pain. Pat lives with her husband, John, and their family in Midland Park.


Carolyn Conetta, Financial Manager

Carolyn is a graduate of the University of Scranton, where she received a B.S. in accounting. She came to West Side in 2006 after having been the financial administrator at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church in Ridgewood. She previously worked in the small business department at Flackman, Goodman & Potter, a Ridgewood CPA firm. Carolyn lives in Ridgewood with her husband, Doug, and their three children: Christopher, 25, a 2006 graduate of Wesleyan University; Aimee, 21, a senior at Fairfield University; and Matthew, 19, a freshman at Bates College.


Lisa Stitt, Business Administrator

Lisa has experience in human resources, software applications training, and teaching high school math. She holds a BA in mathematics and Norwegian from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, and an MA in education from the College of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN). Lisa is a resident of Middletown, NY, and is the proud owner of several cats.


Carol Walton,  Coordinator for Ministry

Carol worked for eight years at JVC as a trade show/event planner. After a break to raise her three daughters, she returned to work at West Side in 2004 as Wedding Coordinator and assistant to Gareth, Marc, and Liz.


Kaylin Milazzo, Interim Director of Youth Ministries

A lifelong member of West Side, Kaylin graduated in May from Fordham University, majoring in psychology with a minor in women’s studies. She is a former member of the church’s youth group and a Sunday school teacher. She is responsible for the whole youth program for middle and high school kids, which includes the Tuesday HighPoint program, mission and fun trips, and retreats for grades 6-12. “I really like one-on-one time with youth,” says Kaylin. “I love getting to know them and then watching them grow in their personal faith.” This summer she led West Side’s delegation of nine to Triennium at Purdue University in August.


Gayle Sussman, Director of West Side Nursery School

Gayle holds a BA in English from the State University of New York at Albany and teacher certification from New Jersey. She has taken post-graduate courses in teaching at the University of Maryland and at Bank Street College in Manhattan. Gayle's commitment to early childhood education reflects her conviction that young children learn and thrive in a gentle, encouraging atmosphere created by caring teachers who understand and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum. She believes that positive emotional and social experiences are essential for a successful first school experience and that the whole child needs to be nurtured.


Cindy Hardt, Assistant Director of West Side Nursery School

A native of Ridgewood, Cindy Hardt has been at West Side Nursery School since 1995. She and her husband, Jim, live in Midland Park, where they raised their daughters, Shannon and Tara, and their son, Ryan. They are also the proud grandparents of Conor.


Paul Mensing, Facilities Manager/Sexton

Having retired from PSE&G after 35 years, during which he did fossil and nuclear power plant systems engineering, project development and management, and acquisitions, Paul Mensing joined our staff as Sexton, with responsibility for managing West Side's physical plant. He lives with his wife, long-time member Cheryl Mensing, in Midland Park. They have two daughters, both of whom live nearby with their husbands, and were recently joined by his mother from Florida. Paul is currently undertaking disaster preparedness volunteer work as a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program member and with Presbytery of the Palisades efforts.


Clive Stewart, Custodian

Born in Jamaica, Clive grew up in Kingston and later in Spring Valley, NY. He has previously worked in other industries as a doughmaker and warehouse worker. Clive and his wife, Naomi, are the proud parents of Olivia, born in 2007, and Abigail, born in October, 2010. In his spare time Clive is an avid cricket player.
