All-Church Fellowship
Jammers Softball
The games over the next five weeks will be against the other division, so these will all be teams the Jammers haven't faced yet this season. The last game is on August 8th, and the playoffs will start on August 15th. It is unclear as of now whether the rained-out game against Bethlehem Lutheran will be made up. If it is, it will be a doubleheader. Players: Paul Nuti asks that if you know your vacation plans, to please let him know which weeks you will be away in order to plan accordingly.
Beautifying our Church Grounds
West Side's colorful gardens, manicured lawns, and neatly trimmed shrubbery are the work of a few dedicated volunteers. As the scope of the landscaping increases, the need for more volunteers also increases. Two hours a month are all that's required to help out. Please contact Lou Petersen, bucsfla@yahoo.com, if you are interested in being a part of the team of volunteers who find a great deal of joy and reward in tending to West Side's gardens.
The 2nd Annual Chocolate Festival was a great success!
Thanks to everyone who attended or helped out. It was a blast!
And congratulations to the three winners of the Bake-Off: Louise Mensing in the cookies/brownies category; Merill Schuetz for her candy entry; and Nandy Fowls for her delicious cake. Our three judges, Trish Bogucki, Eleanor Hahn, and Gene Rogers, really enjoyed their deliberations!

About 50 people attended to wish each other a happy new year and have some sparkling cider, hors d'oeuvres and dessert.
